Wrap-ups
"Vuly is fighting fit at the 2011 Australian Health and Fitness Expo – 15-17 April 2011"
Held at the Sydney Convention Centre in the centre of Darling Harbour, the 2011 Australian Health and Fitness Expo was just as much a sight to behold as the breathtaking Bridge itself. Thousands of retailers took part in the Expo, showing products ranging from body testing devices to protein powders. Amongst the hubbub, Vuly exhibited our range of 8ft – 14ft trampolines and accessories to trade visitors and members of the general public, tickling the trampoline enthusiast inside each and every one of our visitors to the stand. …More
The Expo lived up to all expectations, with over 15,000 trade and general public visitors passing through the doors of the Sydney Convention Centre over just three days. At the Vuly stand, visitors snacked on orange, black and white jumping beans while enjoying one of the four Vuly Trampolines on display. Christie Jenkins, former Australian trampoline champion and Vuly sponsored athlete, delighted crowds with tricks from the trampoline routine which gained her a commendable 10th placing at the 2010 World Trampoline Championships in Metz, France. Christie also gave trampoline enthusiasts tips on their tricks and supervised the safe jumping of all visitors who attended the Vuly stand throughout the weekend.
Overall, the Fitness Expo was a roaring success. With visitors complimenting Vuly on our ability to help them relive their own childhood memories of bouncing in the backyard, it’s safe to say that everyone involved had a great time on our trampolines. After all, that’s why we’re in business!
“Wrap up of the 2011 Australian Toy, Hobby and Nursery Fair – 13-17 February 2011”
Every year, toy retailers around Australia make the annual pilgrimage to the Mecca that is the Australian Toy, Hobby and Nursery Fair. The Toy Fair, regarded by toy retailers as the most coveted event in the industry’s calendar, is a melting pot of different toy varieties set to wow the Australian consumer stage in the upcoming year. …More
At the end of the Toy Fair, organisers chose one lucky charity to be the recipient of donations from the thousands of exhibitors apart of the three day event. In 2011, the recipient of the annual toy collection run by the Toy Fair was Variety, the Children’s Charity. The purpose of Variety is to provide life opportunities through the provision of equipment, experiences and community support for special needs children. Variety also acts as an umbrella organisation, providing support to many other children’s groups and charities as well as raising funds for its own initiatives.
In the spirit of charity, giving thanks and sharing the joy of trampolining with others, Vuly was proud and privileged to be able to donate an 8 ft Vuly Trampoline to Variety on the last day of the Toy Fair. Together with donations from other organisations at the Toy Fair, over $6000 worth of goods has gone into the hands of many needy children via Variety’s many programs.
Vuly was delighted to have received such a positive response from all trade visitors at the Toy Fair. Having the opportunity to meet many of our existing and prospective Vuly Authorised Reseller at the Toy Fair has allowed us to bring our wholesale initiatives closer in line with what our resellers want. We look forward to sharing a successful business relationship with our resellers in the years to come.
