Ben Wilden

Ben Wilden (born 24 April 1985) in Murray Bridge, South Australia is an Australian trampolinist and Vuly sponsored athlete. He is a former national champion and as the highest ranked athlete in the oceanic region in 2007, he represented Australia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

Competition

After winning many junior titles between 1996 and 2001 Wilden was named the Australian Junior Trampoline Athlete of the Year.

2002 brought Ben a new level of success after the Australian National Trampolining Coach, Nikolay Zhuravley invited him to join the Australian National Trampoline Team and compete at the World Cup in North America. In 2007, he was named the Australian Trampoline Champion and represented Australia in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He recently competed at the World Games in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and finished ninth.

Did you know?

Despite hyper extending his knee during training in the week leading up to the 2003 Australian Youth Olympic Festival, Ben won gold in the individual men’s trampoline event.
